What is Point Roberts?

Point Roberts is a 5 square mile pene-exclave of Washington State, meaning that you have to enter the territory of another country to access it. Getting here from the US requires the transit of two borders, while entering from BC requires only one border crossing.  Located 45 minutes from Vancouver International Airport and 1 hour from Bellingham, it is centrally located adjacent to the BC Lower Mainland.

Some call Point Roberts home year-round, but the majority come to spend time in the summer either in their own cottages or to visit.  For many BC residents and visitors, being able to visit Point Roberts for even several days can be a great opportunity to recharge and unwind from the toils of the rat race.

With many workplaces evolving and the increased use of telecommuting, Point Roberts is becoming a haven for more and more people seeking better quality of life and stress reduction.

In its essence, Point Roberts is synonymous with R&R, campfires, beach time and serenity.
