Beaches and Parks

Point Roberts is an outdoor enthusiasts paradise. The stunning views from the coast include Vancouver’s North Shore, Mt. Baker, the Gulf Islands, Vancouver Island and the Pacific Ocean itself. Wildlife is abundant in the area and the bird watching is exceptionally good.

Along the shore there are 4 main attractions to enjoy, one at each corner of the Point. In the NE you can find Maple Beach, which at low tide opens up dramatically. In the SE you’ll find Lily Point, a favorite for hikers and beach goers alike. To the SW is Lighthouse Marine Park which looks across the Straight of Georgia to Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. In the NW is a steep but rewarding hike at Monument Park, which hugs the Canadian Border. Baker Field, located in the interior of Point Roberts hosts many walking trails as well as a baseball diamond and the Point Roberts Primary School.
